Kabhi kabhi aditi zindagi mein yuhi koi apna lagta hai,
Kabhi kabhi aditi wo bichad jaaye to ek sapna lagta hai,
Aise mein koi kaise apne aasuon ko behne se roke?
Aur kaise koi soch le everything’s gonna be ok?

Ever heard of friendship at first sight? You look at someone and their aura makes you feel like, yes, I have finally found a person to vibe with. Your thoughts, atmosphere, craziness matches with that person and you guys instantly click. In a very less time that person becomes an important part of your routine as if you have been knowing each other for years and years.

Kabhi kabhi to lage zindagi mein rahi naa khushi aur naa mazaa,
Kabhi kabhi to lage har din mushkil aur har pal ek sazaa,
Aise mein koi kaise muskuraye, kaise hass de khush hoke?
Aur kaise koi soch le everything gonna be ok?

A day without them feels like years. Their absence makes you feel incomplete and rheumy. Even a thought of losing them makes you wonder and overthink things that are probably never going to happen. Eventually, you guys start sounding like each other. All the crack-head jokes and sarcasm matches and they become a part of you.  

Soch zara jaane jaa tujhko hum kitna chahte hai,
Rote hai hum bhi agar teri aankhon mein aasu aate hai,
Gaana to aata nahi hai magar phir bhi hum gaate hai,
Ki aditi maan kabhi , kabhi saare jahan mein andhera hota hai,
Lekin raat ke baad hi to savera hota hai..

They smile. You smile. You cry. They cry. There are some days when you feel dull, low and lonely despite of being surrounded by people. And that’s when they shine. The light in your darkness. The smile to your frown. The happiness to your sadness. Your friendship deepens to the core and nothing can stop you from falling apart.
