Not Everything You Lose Is A Loss

I held on to things too tight,
Didn’t released my grip,
When it no longer felt right.
Though it gave me pain,
I always thought that holding on,
Was worth the pain it takes.
I thought that losing things,
Would lose a part of me too,
Then i gradually become someone,
My heart no longer knew.
It taught me many things,
But the one that imprinted my heart was,
Not everything you lose,
Is bound to be a loss.
