You are trying to run away from your pain which will give you joy for some time but will never ever give the permanent solution. Instead, feel the pain, give time and move on. We have often heard to learn to let go and accept the things that are not in our hands but no one has ever taught how to?

What I have learnt is, time- it is your biggest enemy and friend. Whenever we are suffering from something which has been affecting us lately, whether it be a heartbreak, or failure or anything which is cracking you inside and you are helpless; the first thing that we all need to understand is “it happened for a reason.” What reason? Why with me? When will it end? No one knows.
All we need to do is believe in God that there must be something good behind what you are suffering right now and it is going to heal only if you allow it to.
There is a saying that “God does everything for our good” which indeed is true only if you are a strong believer.
Why do we need to accept things that we cannot change?
You learn to see other’s point of view.
When we try to learn to accept things we tend to look onto perspectives of others rather than just focusing on ourselves which makes us a good listener. You learn the mere difference between ego and self-respect.
Rational and Realistic Problem
The more you run away from the problem, the more you face the difficulties to face yourself. You absorb to face the actual query that has been bothering when you start accepting which makes the things easier to solve.
The sense of calmness develops
You won’t have to pretend to be someone else. You would have developed peace within yourself.
How to master the art of acceptance?
Time
Whenever, you are wounded, you do not heal in few hours. It takes time. Similarly, give time to heal your inner wound. Connect the dots and you’ll get all the answers to your questions.
Letting go is a choice
The more you try to hold on to the things, the more it will slip away. Let it go and see if it comes back. Now you may ask, how to let go? The simple answer is- changing your perception towards it and practicing gratitude.
Lower your expectations
The root cause why you can’t accept the things is because you have created high class expectations in your mind and it doesn’t get fulfilled which gives you the reality check. Lower your expectations and you are on a happy path.
Focus on what you can control
The simplest way to move on is focus where you are, what is in your hands and what can you do about it.
What happens when you learn to accept things?
– Give up all the unhealthy habits that you’ve created by yourself for yourself.
